This study "Yield of Winged Bean as Affected by Different Levels of Applying Ammonium Phosphate Fertilizer", was conducted at Banaba Cerca, Indang, Cavite from June 1988 to December 1988 to determine the effect of applying ammonium phosphate fertilizer on the yield of winged beans.
Seeds of winged beans were planted on the prepared plots with three replications and each with four treatments. These were applied with different levels of ammonium phosphate fertilizer as follow: ty (control), T, (applied with 50 grams of ammonium phosphate fertilizer per plant), 1, (applied with 100 grams of ammonium phosphate fertilizer per plant) and Ty (applied with 150 grams of ammonium phosphate fertilizer per plant), Application of fertilizer was done two times.
First application was done before planting and second was one month after planting,
Result showed that treatment 4 (applied with 150 grams of ammonium phosphate fertilizer per plant) gave the longest,and highest production of pods followed by treatment 35, 2 and 1 applied at the rate of 100, 50 and O grams of ammonium phosphate fertilizer per plant respectively.
