The study is entitled Level of TV Viewing and TV Program Preferences Among Children in Purok-139 Patutong Malaki North, Tagaytay City. Generally, the study aimed to find out the relationship between the level of tv viewing and tv program preferences among children. Specifically, it aimed to measure the level of tv viewership of children; to identify the tv program preferences among children; to identify the reason why children watch the preferred tv program. Descriptive survey method was used in this study. It followed with the purposive sampling method to determine the target respondents. Forty-six children from Purok-139 Patutong Malaki North, Tagaytay City were chosen as respondents of the study. The statistical measures applied were frequency counts, percentage, and chi-square. Results show that majority of the respondents had moderate exposure to television. All of the respondents watch television every day. The study also revealed that the entertainment program rather than other tv programs are the most preferred by the respondents. And it has no significant relationship between the level of tv viewing and tv program preferences among children.
