This study was conducted to find out the influence of peer pressure on the development of study habits of second year BS Nursing students of Cavite State University.
This study aimed to determine the demographic profile of the second year BS Nursing students of Cavite State University in terms of age; gender; and units enrolled. To know what the study habits of second year BS Nursing students are of Cavite State University in terms of time management, concentration, listening, note taking, reading; and test taking. To know the level of peer pressure on the development of study habits of second year BS Nursing students of Cavite State University. And to know the relationship of peer pressure on the development of second year BS Nursing students at Cavite State University. This study was conducted at Cavite State University Indang, Cavite, between Decembers 2005 to January 2006. This study focused mainly on the peer pressure and study habits of second year BS Nursing students of Cavite State University Indang, Cavite SY 2005-2006 There were one hundred forty respondents. To complete the one hundred forty respondents, twenty people were chosen from each section. In determining the of peer pressure, the questionnaire that was developed and validated by the researcher was used Study habits questionnaire was also used to determine their study habits
Generally, the study revealed that peer pressure influences the study habits of second year BS Nursing students at Cavite State University. Based on the questionnaire that was given to the respondents, the result shows that their study habits regardless of peer pressure of the students, their study habits were the same
In general, peer pressure influenced very minimal the study habits of the respondents, however, specifically factors of study habits such as concentration, listening and note taking, reading and test taking was influenced by peer pressure.
