MORALEDA, MARLON B. and VOLANTE, AARON JOHN B. Design and Construction of An Ultra-Low RPM High-Powered Generator. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Engr. Jonathan M. Calina.
The study was conducted in Cavite State University - Main Campus, Indang. Cavite. It generally aimed to: ( ) design and construct the rotor and stator system; (2) test and evaluate the system's performance; and (3) conduct cost computation. The rotor and stator system were designed based from theoretical computations. The generator contains three stators and they were tested from different configurations. The generator performance was examined after application of motor driver and measuring the voltage and current in load and no-load condition under varying rotational speed (60-300 RPM). The actual output measured was tabulated and compared to the theoretical value to find out the accuracy of the computation done during the design. The study also calculated the total expenses used in the project. In general. this study proved that the system is reliable and efficient in accumulating power at ultra-low RPM range. The total cost of the study was P 50,000.
