Rint <br/><br/>	This study was conducted for the purpose of determining the effectiveness of Complementary and Alternative Medicine such as acupressure, relaxation technique, ventousa, herbal medication, water therapy, underground stream and crisscross of water effects, etc. used by the 14 reliable respondents in Tahanan ni Maria, Home for the Aged, founded by Late Fr. Norberto Macalintal based in Carmona, Cavite. Interview, frequency distribution and percentage method were used in the study. Ages of the respondents ranged from 52 to 93 years of age. Findings revealed that Complementary and Alternative Medicine was effective versus the used of prescribed medicine used by the respondents. <br/>
