The study was conducted in Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, from July to November 1988.

This study aimed to determine the best source of planting materials of sweet potato. Cuttings used were as follows: T1 (Top portion), T2 (Middle portion), and T5 (Base portion). The vine cuttings were taken approximately 30 centimeters from the top portion, middle portion and base portion of the vine.

Statistical analysis of the data revealed that significant differences exist among the three treatments particularly on the length and weight of tubers produced.

Vine cuttings from top portion (T1) was the best source of Planting materials.
