<br/><br/> This farm practice was undertaken at Limbon, Indang, Cavite by putting up an income generating project under the title "Production of Tomato the apple Plantation." The project aimed to develop student's capability to promote skill in working the rural people; to determine the cost and return of tomato as intercrop to pineapple; and, to help farmers utilize the area for better farm income. Selection of farmer-cooperator was done prior to the conduct of the project. An area of 2,000 square meters was used as the project site. The variety of tomato used was Claveria Strain. Side-dressing application of fertilizer (14-14-14) vas used. Crop protection practices such as weeding and cultivation were employed.<br/>A total of 200 kilos of fresh tomatoes was obtained from the project. The produce was sold at Indang Public Market at P10.00 per kilo which gave a total gross income of P2000.00. The actual expenses amounted to P1,305.00 and the project gave a net income of P695.00. <br/>
