A farm practice project on feeding growing-finishing hogs with cassava tuber and rice bran forti-fied with protein concentrate premix was conducted to demonstrate and disseminate to backyard hog raisers the technology of reducing the cost of producing pork by utilizing the non-traditional feeds. This was conduct-ed in Barangay Kaytambog with a total investment of Y4,084.10. Two piglets with an average initial weight of 20.25 kg. were used. After 130 days of feeding, the project earned a gross income of 041764.00 with a net profit of 0535.15. The two pigs obtained a final weight of 160 kg. or an average of 80 kg. each. During the duration of the project the pigs gained a total weight of 119.5 kgs.
