The farm practice was conducted in Kaytambog, Indang, Cavite from October 1987 to February 1988, to encourage the farmer in using combination of complete and urea fertilizer and to increase in come in applying new technology in corn production. An area of 2,500 square meters was prepared by plowing and harrowing twice the land. Planting of corn was done on October 31, 1987 with the distance of 50 centimeters apart 60 centimeters between rows and eight centimeters deep. Three seeds per hill were used. Fertilizer used was combination of complete and urea fertilizer at the rate of 50 kilograms and 25 kilograms respectively to the entire area. (200 kilograms complete and 25 kilograms of urea fertilizer per hectare) four weeks after planting. The corn ears were harvested January 30, 1988. The proper management practices employed in corn production gave low production profit because of typhoon Sisang which hit the place last November 26, 1987. The total production is about 130 kilograms and gave the gross income of Y820.00. After deducting the total expenses from the gross income, the net income of Y134.00 was realized
