The farm practice was conducted at Sabang, Naic, Cavite from October 25, 1988 to December 10, 1988 to demonstrate the performance of broiler fed with commercial feeds mixed with grated coconut and ground yellow corn and to determine the margin of net return by advocating the technology. Birds were given chicks’ booster mash during the first week and broiler starter up to fifth week. Broiler finisher mash mixed with grated coconut and ground yellow corn was given in the sixth week up to the last week at the rate of 50 mash, 30°4 ground yellow corn and 20% grated coconut. Broilers consumed 325 kilograms of feeds with an average feed consumption of 3.42 kilograms for six weeks. After providing the necessary care and proper management, the birds had a total final weight of 143.3 kilograms live weight or an average of 1.5 kilogram live weight. The project gave an income of 1420.00.
