A total of 100 broiler chicks was used in the project to determine the cost and return of broilers raised under Bancod condition and become familiar with the different management practices in broiler production. The chicks were brooded in an electrically heated brooder for the first three weeks and were reared in a well-elevated growing house at the start of the fifth week until marketing time. Proper feeding management was employed in the project. Likewise, strict hygiene and sanitation was maintained throughout the cycle of the production. Two percent mortality occurred in the project. After seven weeks of operation, a total feed consumption of 372 kilograms and a feed efficiency of 2.5 were exhibited by the birds which resulted to a total body weight of 149.5 kilograms. The total expenses of the Project amounted to 11,446.00 and the total income was 11,794.25, giving a net return of P ,348.25.
