<br/><br/> This farm practice was conducted at Guyam Munti Indang, Cavite from August to November, 1982 to determine the production of mongo in the said place.<br/>A 2,500 square meter field was plowed and harrowed twice at an interval of one week to allow weedseeds to germinate. The last plowing was followed by harrowing <br/>to insure proper levelling of the land.<br/>Planting was done on the first week of September after broadcasting the complete fertilizer (14-14-14) at the rate of 200 kgs. per hectare. Occasional weeding was done to kill the weeds as they grew in the plantation. Harvesting of dry pods was done on November 15-20, 1982 approximately seventy-three (73) days after planting. A total of 45 gantas of mongo were harvested and marketed at P21.00 per ganta. The gross income obtained was P945.00. A net income of four hundred nine pesos and fifty centavos (P409.50) was obtained after deducting the total expenses of P535.50 from the total gross income of P<br/>
