The farm practice was conducted in Trez Cruzez, Tanza, Cavite from August to December 1990 This project aimed to put into practice the knowledge and skills gained by the students and at the same time help increase the income of intercropping corn with mungbean. An area of 1,500 square meters was used for the project. The yellow corn variety and the Pag-asa variety of mungbean were used in the project. Planting was done on August 30, 990 Two to three seeds of corn were planted in furrows at a distance of 75 centimeters between rows and 37.5 centimeters between hills for corn at a distance of 75 centimeters between rows and 30 centimeters between hills. Harvesting was done 90 days after planting for mungbean while corn was harvested 110 days after planting. A total of 150 kilos of corn was obtained on the field and marketed at P8.00 per kilo and a total of 30 gantas of mungbean was marketed at P60.00 per Banta.
