<br/><br/> A farm practice project was conducted at the Agribusiness Poultry project of the Department of Animal Science, Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite from October 21 to December 6, 1996 to gain managerial and manipulative skills in operating a broiler enterprise, to harness the student's business ability by integrating his knowledge in agribusiness concepts in broiler production and to evaluate the profitability of broiler production. A total of 1,660 birds was recovered out of 1,722 birds raised with 3.6% mortality. The birds attained an average body weight of 1.92 kg. Each bird consumed 4.26 kg of feed giving a feed conversion efficiency of 2.22.  A net income of P36,207.26 or P21.81 per bird with return on investment of34.80%was realized at the termination of the project.
