The study was conducted from January to April 2019 at Pedro Alegre Senior High School, Mendez, Cavite, to determine the effects of sports participation as perceived by senior high students at Pedro Alegre Senior High School, Mendez, Cavite. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1. determine the demographic characteristic of the respondents in terms of age, sex, and sports played; 2. effects of sports participation as perceived by Senior High students of Pedro Alegre Senior Highschool in terms of: health activity and behavioral activity: 3. effects of Sports Participation as perceived by Senior High student of Pedro Alegre Senior High
School significantly differ by age, sex ,and year level.

The participants were 100 students of Pedro Alegre Senior High School for S.Y. 2018-2019. A survey questionnaire was used to gather the data needed in the study.

The Researcher used Probability sampling to determine the participants. The study made use of a descriptive method of research. The data gathered were subjected to statistical treatment.

This Study benefits the students, teachers, and future researchers. The study gives them further information about the effects of sports participation as perceived
by senior high students, it can also be their source of information.

The result showed that There is no significant difference in the effect of sports participation as perceived by senior high students in Pedro Alegre Senior High School when they are grouped by age, sex and year level. The effects of Sports Participation as perceived by Senior High student of Pedro Alegre Senior High School will significantly differ by age, sex, and year level.
