The study was conducted from August to May 2018 in the Fit and Right Gym, Gods Gone Bad Gym, Pound for Pound Fitness Gym and Fit X at Tagaytay City, Cavite to know the effect of music to the Gym Enthusiast. Specifically, the study aimed to: 1. Know the characteristic of participants in terms of personal related variables (age, sex); 2. Know the type of music and the level of volume preferred by the participants (RnB, Pop, Rock, and Ballad Music. Low, Medium and High Volume); 3. Determine the effects of music on exercise to gym enthusiast; and 4. Determine if there is significant difference on the effects of music used by the gym enthusiasts when grouped according to their demographic characteristics. Descriptive research was used in this study. Interviews were done to gather pertinent data. The community had 10 fitness gym and the researchers included 4 fitness gyms as participants in the study. There were 73 male and 47 female, and their age ranged from 16 — 40 years old and the majority of the participants were in the bracket of 21 to 25 years old. The generality of preferred music of the gym enthusiasts are R&B and Ballad songs and the level of volume are high and loud volume when they listen to music while they exercise. The effects of music to the gym enthusiasts were enjoyment, feel motivated, and feel energetic while listening to music in exercise. Listening to music shows positive effects. There is significant difference between demographic characteristics and effects of music in exercise.
