Tuguinay, MSCJ The study was conducted at Cavite State University Main Campus. It aimed to determine the level of awareness and importance of mental health to security personnel of Cavite State University-Main Campus on mental health, as well as to figure out the relationships between awareness and its importance. This study used descriptive correlational type of research where it assessed the relationships of the two variables. Primary data were gathered through online survey questionnaires given and distributed to the participants, and convenience sampling was used in order to consider their free time and availability. The research instrument used in this study is a close-ended survey questionnaire, distributed through google forms and other social media platforms. The respondents are composed of 35 security personnel, with seven organic and 27 outsourced security personnel, from Cavite State University-Main Campus. The results showed that participants are moderately aware and place a high level of importance on mental health. Moreover, there is no significant relationship between the two variables.
