The study was conducted in the 11 municipalities and cities in Cavite to describe: 1) the demographic profile of Local Water Utilities Administration in Cavite; 2) determine the level of awareness of Local Water Utilities Administration in Cavite with the United Nation Sustainable Development Goal 6; 3) identify the different programs and projects of Local Water Utilities Administration related to Sustainable Development Goal 6; 4) determine the status and budget of the different programs, projects, activities and other related information and the benefits from United Nation Sustainable Development Goal 6.

Both primary and secondary data were obtained from the Local Water Utilities Administration in Cavite and from other research and articles from previous studies and the internet. Out of 40 programs and projects 22 percent are completed. 32 percent are on- going, 43 percent are proposed and only 3 percent were pending. Most of the programs and projects were on to safely managed drinking water with 63 percent. There were only 11 Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) existing in Cavite. These were established from 1957 to 2003 under Presidential Decree 198. The sources of water were deep wells (73%) and spring (27%).

Fifty-five (55%) percent of Local Water Utilities Administration were categorized as big and only one (1%) percent small. The employees of Local Water Utilities Administration were moderately aware of the concept of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6 for Clean Water and Sanitation. There were programs, projects and activities registered by Local Water Utilities Administration to support the United Nation Sustainable Development Goal 6 indicators were majority (83%) of the programs, projects and activities were under supply managed drinking water services.

Among the 11 Local Water Utilities Administration in Cavite General Mariano Alvarez had the highest budget for programs and projects amounting 42,300,000.00 while Indang had the least budget amounting only 2,400.000.00.
