HERNANDO, HERO F., HILARIA, CHARLS JOHYN T., LOTO, KEMPEE R., VIDALLON, EUSIEL LAURENCE F., Development of Web Application for CvSU Agri-Eco Tourism Park with Reservation, Retail Management and Real-Time Navigation. Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. July 2022. Adviser: Mr. Russel L. Villacarlos. The study that was conducted from September 2021 to July 2022 aimed to develop a web application for the CvSU Agri-Eco Tourism Park that would assist it with reservations, retail management, and present a preview of its tour areas with real-time navigation. The overall objective of the project is to develop a web-based ecotourism promotion system for the Cavite State University Agri-Eco Tourism Park. The project emphasizes the university's well-known agricultural sector, highlighting its beauty and natural variety while giving tourists and students an online peek into the park's ecotourism sections. The system was developed by the researchers following an iterative development method as a guide. The CodeIgniter Framework, PHP 7.2, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XAMPP, MySQL 15.1, and Apache Server were used to develop this system. The researcher evaluated the system from both a non-technical and technical standpoint to see if it satisfied the necessary requirements. While the non-technical form was reviewed by students and other individuals, the technical evaluation forms were filled
out by IT specialists who were sought out by the researchers. The average score for non- technical responses was 4.33 and for technical responses was 4.39. With this average mean
score, the system has successfully met the features expected by the intended users as well as the technical professional's approval. It is therefore concluded that the Web Application for CvSU Agri-Eco Park can assist in promoting ecotourism and the university's well-known agricultural sector by showcasing the beauty and diversity of nature through the use of an online platform.
