The internet's relevance has shifted as people's reliance on it has grown, as has the risk of it being disrupted. As the number of individuals who use the internet grows, so does the strain on the internet's infrastructure. This study aimed to assess the cybersecurity threats in the new normal working set up of the faculty and staff at CVSU - Main. As faculty and administrative staff begin to use online platforms to administer their work, they became vulnerable to various types of cyberthreats and attacks. The researchers sought to know the cyber threats and attacks being experienced by the said participants and how they are affected by these threats. Furthermore, this research came up with a plan on how to secure the faculty and administrative staff of Cavite State University on working in the new normal. The study used a quantitative method, and the respondents of 400 admin and staff were selected randomly from the total population of 2,100. The study delivered knowledge and information on how we can be vulnerable to cyberthreats and attacks. It was found out in the study that the faculty and staff of the above-mentioned university slightly experienced cybersecurity threats in online learning. It was also found out here that the faculty highly practiced the countermeasures needed to mitigate cybersecurity threats while the staff practiced them slightly.
