The study was conducted at Cavite State University, particularly the College of Nursing from September 2021 to June 2022. Generally, it aimed to determine the experiences on online teaching strategies during COVID-19 pandemic: Unearthing the perspective of Medical Laboratory Science students in Cavite State University, Main Campus AY 2021-2022. Specifically it aimed to: determine the predispositions of medical laboratory science students on online teaching strategies during COVID-19 pandemic in Cavite State University, Main Campus AY 2021-2022; determine the conditions encountered by medical laboratory science students on online teaching strategies during COVID-19 pandemic in Cavite State University, Main Campus AY 2021-2022; and determine the perceptions of medical laboratory science students on online teaching strategies during COVID-19 pandemic in Cavite State University, Main Campus AY 2021-2022. The study utilized phenomenological approaches in qualitative research to investigate the online teaching strategies used during the COVID-19 pandemic from the perspective of Medical Laboratory Science students. An in-depth personal interview using researcher-made open-ended guide questions with general leads was conducted to explore the online teaching strategies experienced by the medical laboratory science students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The interview was held online via Zoom and Google meet. The data were collected from ten (10) medical laboratory science students of the College of Nursing of Cavite State University where the saturation point was reached. The verbatim of the ten (10) medical laboratory science students were transcribed and analyzed using content analysis. Data analysis revealed that the predispositions of Medical Laboratory Science students to online teaching strategies include awareness, preference, and reason. Meanwhile, the condition of online teaching strategies as observed by Medical Laboratory Science students include experience, feedback, and test results. On the other hand, the perceptions on online teaching strategies include effectiveness, compliance, and improvement. The experiences of Medical Laboratory Science students on online teaching strategies during COVID-19 pandemic unearthed the predispositions of Medical Laboratory Science students on online teaching strategies, the condition of their online classes, and their perceptions on online teaching strategies. Therefore, it is recommended that the professors provide more effective learning materials both online and laboratory modality for the students and teachers to use, and for major examinations to be conducted in the face-to-face setting.
