JAMIG, LEONARDO E. AND UGALDE, JUSTIN LYLE F. Crucero Caviteņo: The Cavite Water Jeepney Port and Intermodal Facilities. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2022. Adviser: Arch. Kenn Paolo C. Valero.

This study was conducted from September 2021 to May 2022 in the coastal cities of Cavite namely Cavite city, Bacoor, Noveleta, Rosario, Tanza and Naic, Cavite for the proposal of a ferry station with inter-modal facility. The general objective of the study was to develop a port facility that will play a crucial role in tying the coastal cities of Cavite and Manila together. By making Cavite more accessible to over a million travel. The study also aimed to: 1. create an architectural design that will facilitate or ensure that the terminal operates without disruptions through the use of design solutions, design standards, and design guidelines, a transportation facility that serves the commuters of the province of Cavite and offers a terminal that is secure, safe, and environmentally friendly for users; 2. have the best experience, identify the structures, features, activities, and facilities that are needed; 3. fully render drawings including conceptual sheets, perspectives, and a site development plan should be delivered together with architectural works such floor plans, elevations, and sections of buildings. The following factors, according to the researchers, were important to consider when designing the project: laws and ordinances, character, orientation, circulation, and zoning, accessibility, natural light and ventilation, durability over aesthetics, structural analysis and appropriate materials, space, atmosphere, and ambience, as well as the use of contemporary technology, solutions to existing hazards, and water level within the coastal site. The proponents have arrived at the design strategies that will be used for the project after further analysis and investigation of the factors.
