The study aimed to determine the following (1) demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender and civil status; (2) work motivation of single and married employees of CAFFMACO and Silang Water District in Silang. Cavite: (3) iob satisfactions of single and married employees of CAFFMACO and Silang Water District in Silang, Cavite: (4) significant difference on the work motivation of single and married employees of CAFFMACO and Silang Water District in Silang, Cavite; (5) significant difference on the job satisfaction of single and married employees of CAFFMACO and Silang Water District in Silang, Cavite; and (6) significance relationship between work motivation and job satisfaction of single and married employees of CAFFMACO and Silang Water District in Silang, Cavite.

This research used descriptive-correlational comparative type of study.

The researcher has questionnaires for the work motivation and job satisfaction of single and married employees of Cavite Farmers Feed Milling and marketing cooperative and Silang Water District in Silang, Cavite. The researcher used the instrument of the Motivation Questionnaire from the knowledge of (MO) John Smith to measure the variable-Work Motivation. The researcher used 79-item questionnaires for work motivation lifted from Herpacio Lalaine (April 2009) in her study titled: “Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction of Single and Married Employees of San Technology, Inc. in Cavite Economic Zone, Rosario, Cavite”.

The researcher also used a 60-item questionnaire for the job satisfaction lifted from the research of Penus (April, 2009) titled: “Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction of employees in San Technology, Rosario, Cavite”. The questionnaire has measured the satisfaction that the employees had this working.

The questionnaire includes the level of satisfaction. It was also used to measure the level of job satisfaction of single and married employees in Silang, Cavite.
