This study was conducted to determine the Profile, Family and Social Factors of Homosexuality among Male Teenagers in Selected Barangay’s of Rosario, Cavite.

Specifically, this study aimed to determine: (1) the profile of the respondents in terms of: age, number of siblings, gender of siblings, religion and educational attainment; (2) the family factors contributing of homosexuality in terms of: child-rearing method, abuse and disrupted family; (3) the social factors contributing of homosexuality in terms of: social condition and school; (4) the relationship between profile and family factor of male teenagers; and (5) the relationship between profile and social factor of male teenagers.

The researcher used the descriptive correlational design for her study to find the relationship among profile, family and social factors of homosexuality among male teenagers in selected barangay’s of Rosario, Cavite. It describes the situation accurately.

The statistical results, majority of the respondents are 15 to 17 years of age, the number of siblings are 4 to 5, their bothers are 2 to 3, their sister are 0 to 1, the religion is Roman Catholic and most of the respondents are high school graduates.

On the other hand, majority of the respondents of the family factors that most contributed to homosexuality was the child-rearing method of his family with the result of high interpretation.

Furthermore, one of the factors that may have contributed to become a homosexual male is our society an “average” interpretation. This means the homosexual male teenagers are tolerated by our society. The result of the study revealed that there is no significant relationship between profile and family factors of homosexual male teenagers. This implies that the family factors that contribute to homosexuality were not affected by their profile according to the age, number of siblings, gender of siblings, religion and educational attainment. The respondents of this study have equal attention, love and treatment with his family.

The result of the study also revealed that there is no significant relationship between profile except religion and social factors of homosexual male teenagers. This study indicates that the social factors that contribute to homosexuality were not affected by their profile according to the age, number of siblings, gender of siblings and educational attainment. While the profile of the respondents in terms of religion and social factors have significant relationship to the homosexual male teenagers. This implies that the social factors that contribute to homosexuality were affected by their profile according to religion. For this reason, the religion of the respondents nowadays is very open and there is a sign of acceptance about this issue of homosexuality.
