This study was conducted to find out the relationship of socio-demographic profile, level of motivation to finish study and learning styles of selected working students in Cavite State University. It aimed to (1) determine the profile of the respondents in terms of their (a) age (b) gender (c) number of working hours (d) nature of work (e) location of work (f) status in work environment, (2) determine the level of motivation of the respondents to finish study, (3) determine the learning style of the respondents, (4) determine the significant relationship between motivation and learning styles, (5) determine the significant relationship between socio-demographic profile and motivation, (6) determine the ' significant relationship between socio-demographic profile and learning styles.

This study was conducted from November to December 2006, which focused mainly on the socio-demographic profile, level of motivation to finish study and learning styles of selected working students in Cavite State University.

A total of 81 respondents were subjected to answer a Modified Study Motivation Test and Learning Style Inventory to determine the relationship of the said variables.

The respondents were in their late adolescence; females were greater and most of working students in Cavite State University were student assistants. Nowadays, students were involved in different types of work like in fast food chains as crew, in office and most were student assistants. Most of the respondents were working in average time and still focused on their study.

The learning style of the respondents has nothing to do with their motivation to finish their study as well as the socio-demographic profile.

Results also revealed that motivation to finish study of working students in Cavite State University was not influenced by their learning style. Only location of work, as one in socio-demographic profile, has the relationship to the motivation of working students.
