The purpose of the current study was to determine the effects of work from home on the job satisfaction of faculty members in Cavite State University- Main Campus. Additionally, the variables, working environment, work motivation, response to stressors, working conditions, salary and promotion opportunities, work relationship, work activities and role performed ad opportunities to acquire new skills and abilities were investigated as mediators.
A total of 110 faculty members participated in the study, which utilized an online survey. Results showed that faculty members are satisfied with their current situation at home which means they are satisfied with the things they received. It was also revealed that there is a significant relationship between work from home set up and job satisfaction.
As per findings, employees who work from home had higher views of work motivation. Which leads to them being more satisfied with their jobs. This study's aspects are significant since they support the advantages of remote working for both workers and management. The research begin to look into the impact of COVID-19 on remote employees' job satisfaction. Furthermore, research has shown that faculty who work from home are more productive. As a result, incorporating working from home appears to be a favorable alternative for organizations that must adhere to pandemic regulations.
