The study entitled "Development of Android-Based Mobile E-Clearance System for College of Engineering and Information Technology of Cavite State
University — Main Campus" was conducted from May 2021 to November 2022 at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. The general objective of the study is to enhance and upgrade the current clearance signing process for the College of Engineering and Information Technology of Cavite State University — Main Campus by developing an e-clearance application. Specifically, the study aimed to: (I) identify the problems through survey; (2) analyze the problems through fishbone diagram; (3) design and develop the system with the following modules: account management module, eclearance module, and reports module; (4) test the system through unit testing, integration testing; and (5) evaluate the level of performance using ISO 1926.
The system is composed of three modules. The account management module handles the creation, authentication, and modification of account details and access levels. The e-clearance module handles all the core processes for the e-clearance signing process which includes modification of e-clearance forms and requirements. The report module processes the transaction records between signing staff and students, and also records e-clearance form completion data of the students. The system was developed using Java programming language, Android Studio, Firebase service, and other tools such as Xing library for QR code generation and decryption.
The system's quality was evaluated by 69 respondents. For the results of the evaluation, the system got a general weighted mean of 4.45 which was integrated as
"excellent", which also means that "the system fully meets and far exceeds the most


verify requirement details, manage e-clearance forms, download list of completed clearance forms, and manage signing staff.
