This study was conducted at Indang, Cavite from May 25, 1991 to August 27, 1991 to determine the effects of fermented filtercake as feed supplement on the growth and egg production of quails and to find out which level of fermented filtercake is suitable to be added in the ration.

The fermented filtercake was used as feed supplement at the following levels: Ti - Control (Pure Commercial Feeds); T2 - 4% Fermented Filtercake + 6% Commercial Feeds; T3 - 8% Fermented Filtercake + 92% Commercial Feeds; and T4 - 12% Fermented Filtercake + 88% Commercial Feeds.

The two breeds of Quails used in the study were the black breed (Breed 1) and white breed (Breed 2). The results revealed no significant differences between the different treatments and between breeds.
