The transition from face-to-face classes to online learning modalities due to COVID-19 posed an immense challenge to educational institutions across the globe. Research revealed that although access and availability of the technology is a problem for both learners and teachers, one of the more pressing matters is the preparedness of the faculty in the methodologies to be employed under the new systems of learning. Because of this, the researchers decided to conduct a study entitled "Preparedness of Cavite State University — Cavite City Campus Faculty Members on Online Teaching and Learning A. Y. 2020-2021". The study was focused on the faculty members who were chosen as the respondents. The research aimed to: (l) Determine the socio-demographic profile of the participants (Il) Determine the extent to which the faculty members use a Learning Management System (Ill) Determine the participants' attitudes towards online teaching and learning (IV) Measure the participant's self-efficacy for online teaching, and (V) Solicit suggestions to improve the implementation of online/flexible learning in the University Results of the study revealed that according to Cavite State University Human Resources Department Office (CvSU-HRDO), the total population of Cavite State University Cavite City Campus faculty members is 49. The actual participant of the study is thirty-seven or 75% of the total population. The researchers sent an electronic letter of consent with the survey link attached to it to the administrator of Cavite State University Cavite City Campus to conduct the survey and disseminated the survey link to the participant.
