A study on Production and Marketing of Sampaguita in Selected Barangays of San Pedro Laguna was conducted to; (l) describe the socio-economic characteristics of the sampaguita farmers; (2) describe the characteristics of the business; (3) determine the different production and farm level marketing practices employed by the sampaguita farmers and (4) identify the problems in sampaguita production and marketing and recommend possible solutions.
A total of 50 respondents was selected and personally interviewed in selected barangays of San Pedro Laguna namely, San Vicente, San Antonio and Magsaysay.
Most of the farmers were owner with an average of 15 years of experience in sampaguita production.
The average size of the farm was 825 m. Most of the farmers utilized family labor.
The gross income obtained from sampaguita production ranged from P50,000 to P300,000. The average gross income was PI 85,000.
Sampaguita producers were mostly married with a mean age of 46 years old and had been producing and marketing sampaguita for an average of 15 years.
Most of the producers preferred to sell their product directly from their farm and the rest of the respondents in their house and market. Majority of the producers were paid cash and cash in advance bases.

Majority of the sampaguita buyer preferred to pick-up the product from the producers. In transporting their sampaguita flowers, majority used their own vehicle.
Cash basis rank number one in the method of payment.
Most of the respondents mentioned that weather condition was the major problem encountered with regard to production followed by occurrence of insect, pest and diseases.
