The study aimed to determine the relationship between exposure to reality TV dating show Dismissed and the attitude towards dating of Mass Communication students. Specifically, it aimed to: determine the Mass Communication students’ frequency of viewing reality TV dating show Dismissed; determine the time spent by Mass Communication students in viewing each episode; determine the level of exposure to reality TV dating show Dismissed; and determine the level of attitude towards dating of
Mass Communications students. The study was conducted from October 2004 to February 2005.

The research design used was a descriptive survey method. Purposive sampling procedure was used in the study. Sixty-one respondents were used as sample size out of 154 total population of Mass Communication students. The statistical measures applied in the study were frequency counts, percentage and chi-square test.

Results of the study showed that the respondents have low exposure to reality TV dating show Dismissed. Majority of them have a mild attitude towards dating.

The result of the study showed that there is relationship between exposure to reality TV dating show Dismissed and the attitude towards dating of Mass Communication students.
