Buena A three month enterprise development project named Milky Nuts Enterprise was conducted to: (1) determine the different production activities in producing milky nuts; (2) determine the different strategies in marketing milky nuts; (3) determine the profitability of operating the project; and (4) identify the problems encountered during the conduct of the project and recommend feasible solutions. The project was conducted from December 9, 2005 to March 06, 2006 in Alulod, Indang, Cavite. The capital of P 20,000.00 which was equally shared by the entrepreneurs was used to operate the project. The entrepreneurs were able to identify the different activities in producing sweet delicacies. The different steps followed in producing milky nuts include the preparation of raw materials, cooking, molding and packaging. However, other important aspects in production were identified. The production cost and production volume were presented in the study. For the three-month operation, the project obtained a total sales of P32, 118, total cost of raw materials of P 15, 672.00 and total operating expense of P 7,854.09. The total income realized from the business was P 5,988.41. The enterprise experienced problems during the operation such as unpredicted weather conditions and difficulties in purchasing good quality of packaging material.
