The study entitled "Growth Performance of Anthurium (Anthurium andreanum, Linn) as Affected by Different Levels of Muriate of Potash and Watering Frequencies n was conducted using a Split-Plot Design with a total of anthurium plants 0 The plants were subjected to two factors, factor A — watering frequencies and factor B— levels of Muriate of Potash, Factor A was composed of four treatments as follows: W1 — everyday watering, W2 — every other day watering, W3 — every two days watering and W — every three days watering. Factor B was composed of four treatments as follows: TO — 10 gms Urea, TI - 10 gms Urea + 5 gms muriate of potash, T2 — 10 gns Urea + 10 gms muriate of potash 10 Urea + 15 gms•- muriate of potash. The experiment was replicated three times.
Results showed that watering frequency affects the growth of the plants with W (everyday watering) as the best frequency of watering because it produced the plants with good growth performance. It was followed by W2 (every other day watering), then W3 (every two days watering). The least was obtained from W (every three days watering) because plants with poor growth performance was produced from this treatment on the other hand, levels of muriate of potash greatly affect the growth of the plants, The result showed that T2 (10 gms Urea + 10 gms muriate of potash) is the best level of muriate of potash in ferti lizing anthurium plants because plants with better growth performance was obtained from this treatment. It was fol lowed by TI (10 Urea + 5 gms muriate of potash) and T (10 gms Urea + 15 gms muriate of potash). The least effective treatment was TO 10 gms Urea) 0 Plants in this treatment showed poor growth performance
