This study was conducted to determine the different factors that influenced the technology adoption of crop farmers in selected municipalities in Quezon Province Interview schedule was prepared to lead the author in conducting personal interview with the 250 farmer respondents to obtain the desired results.
Majority of the respondents belonged to the 41—50 years old bracket; had reached or completed secondary level of education, whose number of dependents ranged from four to six
Their farming experience fell within one to ten years, and they were mostly tenants, whose income were F 42, 000000 and below per annum
Most of these farmers did not belong to any rural organizations and were usually vi sited by change agents, who sometimes held seminars and demonstrations
There were two cropping seasons in most of the areas and most of the farm had irrigation system, their farm site s topography was flat. Extension agents played a vital role as farmer
respondents’ source of information while the government financed program rank first as source of credits, followed by cooperatives
Sixty four percent of the total respondents acquired or accepted four to six farming technologies that were introduced by the change agents and their rate of adoption was found to be moderate
