The study entitled “Effects of trichoderma Treated Compost on the Growth Performance of Asparagus” was conducted at the Research Experimental Station of the Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite. A total of 60 asparagus seedlings were used in the study.

Significant result was obtained in the average length of asparagus spears and average plant height. No significant result was obtained in the average diameter of asparagus Spears, average number of asparagus spears developed and average number of days from planting to appearance of asparagus spears.

It was observed that Treatment 3 is the best treatment because it has the highest mean on the length of asparagus Spears, highest mean on the diameter of asparagus spears, highest mean on the number of asparagus spears developed per
plant, and highest mean on the number of days from planting to appearance of asparagus spears.
