This study was conducted to find out the influence of Peer pressure on the Social behavior between In-school and Out-of-school youth in the municipality of Indang. It aimed to (a) determine the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, birth order and combined monthly family income; (b) identify the positive and negative social behavior of the two group respondents; (c) compare the level of positive and negative peer pressure experienced by the two group respondents and; (d) determine if there is a significant relationship between Peer pressure and Social behavior of the two group respondents.
This study was conducted from November 2006 to January 2007 which focused mainly of the level of peer pressure experienced by the two group respondents and its possible influence to their positive and negative social behavior. The respondents were chosen from the selected barangays of Indang which has a 100 population of out-of-school youth and also 100 respondents from in-school youth under the College of Arts and Sciences. All the respondents were at the age of 15 to 18 years old. The lifted and develop questionnaire was validated and use to determine the influence of peer pressure on their social behavior.
Results revealed that the social behavior that shows by the two group respondents were the same regardless of the level of peer pressure they experienced.
