Adviser: Mrs. Aileen V. Rocillo The Development of an Automated Chicken Feeder was constructed in Halang, Amadeo, Cavite. It was tested and evaluated at the Department of Animal Science, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. The general purpose of the study was to develop an automated chicken feeder and specifically aimed to develop software that will control the amount of feeds and feeding time. The whole system design was composed of main feed storage, distribution feed storage, structural prototype machine, interface card and software. C++ was the language used to develop the software of the system. The software was to control the amount of feeds and feeding time. The system served a number of chickens depending on the length of the structural prototype and the size of feed dispenser. Amount of feeds inputted was based on the age and weight of chicken and was automatically computed and distributed once the next feeding time occurred. The results showed that the chicken gained weight after a week of testing and evaluation.
