DE LAS ALAS, ALREA R. Applied Research IV (Science Curriculum), Cavite State University, Indanq, Cavite. April 1998. "Effect of Sweet Potato and Molasses on the Growth Performance of Broilers." Adviser Professor Erano Esguerra.

This study was conducted at Indang, Cavite from October 4,1997 to November 16, 199/ to determine the effect of sweet potato and molasses on the growth of broilers and determine the level of supplementation that would give best results.
Seven treatment groups were used with the following levels of supplementation:

TO - control (pure commercial feeds), T1- 20% sweet potato + 3% molasses + 77% commercial feeds, 12 - 30% sweet potato + 3% molassses 67% commercial feeds, T3 - 20% sweet potato + 4% molasses + 76% to commercial feeds, T4 - 30% sweet potato -1- 4% molasses + 66% commercial feeds, T5 - 20% sweet potato + 5% molasses .1- 75% commercial feeds, T6 - 30% sweet potato + 5% molassf.a,s + 65% commercial feeds.
The results revealed that the best level of supplementation commercial feeds was 30% potato + 5% molasses 4- 65% (T6).

This shows significant effect in terms r.1 final weight, gain in weight, and feed consumption. The supplement had no effect on the carcass quality of the b1rd9 as shown by the result in organolyptic

Broiler
