An enterprise development project was conducted for three months, from November 21, 2011 to February 21, 2012. Production and marketing were the functional areas covered in the project. The project was conducted to enable the students to apply the gained knowledge in the classroom to the actual operation of the business.

‘Specifically, this aimed to: describe the procedures in making and marketing fashionable pouch bags, determine the profitability of producing and selling fashionable pouch bags, identify the problems encountered in making and marketing fashionable pouch bags; and recommend solution to the problems identified.

Business transactions such as purchasing, production, sales, and inventories were monitored from the beginning to the last stage of operation. The customers of Unica Chym Pao included friends and relatives in Dasmarinas, Imus, Trece Martires City, and Indang; employees of Trece Martires City Hall, Cavite Provincial Capitol, Trece
Martires City High School, Land Transportation Office Imus and Dasmarifias; and students and faculty members of Cavite State University, and Maranatha Christian Academy, Imus, Cavite,

An initial capital of PhP30,000 which was equally shared by the entrepreneurs was invested in the project. The enterprise was engaged in the production and marketing of fashionable pouch bags. The entrepreneurs advertised their products through tarpaulin, freebies, and flyers.

For three month period of operation, the enterprise generated a total sales of PhP39,190. After deducting the total production cost of PhP6,899.70, the entrepreneur obtained a net income of PhP14,791.04.
