PEREZ II, MANOLO T. and SOLIS JR., EDILBERTO O. Development of Computer Stress Monitoring Software Using Keyboard Responses. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang,
Cavite. March 2013. Adviser: Mr. Mark Steve V. Poniente.

The study was conducted to monitor the computer usage and measure the stress using keyboard responses which can benefit all computer users especially the students. The system recorded keyboard responses and monitored the user’s computer usage through graphical presentation.

Experimental Prototyping Model was used for the development of the software. It has four phases namely: initial prototype, user review of prototype, revised prototype and final output.

The system was developed using Visual Basic 6.0 as the programming language, Microsoft Word for the documentation and Windows 7 Ultimate as the Operating
System.

The software evaluation used the following criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. The evaluators consisted of instructors from DIT and students from different courses of Cavite State University Main Campus. The software passed all the criteria for the evaluation and had met all the needed requirements for the software.
