AMBAT, KARLA JOY A. Awareness and Compliance to the Anti-Cervical Cancer Campaign as Perceived by Selected Mothers and Daughters of Tagaytay City. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of arts in Mass Communication. College of Arts and Sciences. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. March 2013. Adviser: Rubi A. Manaig.

The study was conducted to determine the relationship between the awareness and compliance of selected mothers and daughters of Tagaytay City to the anti-cervical
cancer campaign.

Seven hundred seventy eight participants accomplished a survey schedule aimed to prove their awareness and compliance to the anti-cervical cancer campaign. The ages of the participants ranged from 10-56 years old. About fifty percent (48.45%) were 10 to 25 years old; 10.59 percent were 26 to 40 years old; 29.84 percent were 41 to 55 years old and 11.11 percent were 56 years old and above.

Majority of the participants have a high level of awareness of the anti-cervical cancer campaign, but the majority of them also have a low level of compliance to the campaign. Hence, there is a weak positive relationship between the respondents’ awareness and their compliance to the anti-Cervical Cancer campaign.
