The study was conducted to develop 3 dimensional navigation system of Forest Product Laboratory for Forest Product Research and Development Institute (FPRDI). This aimed to guide visitors inside the institute, promote and give information about the services offers and build an interactive 3D model of the Forest Product Laboratory for everyone to experience roaming or viewing the facilities with the use of computer. In developing the study, the proponents used the prototyping process methodology which includes planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
The developed software was assessed through these criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability. Information in the program, and technical aspect of the software materials. The system was evaluated by the participants and successfully passed the said criteria.
The 3 dimensional navigation system can promote the agency to the users. Its interactivity level can add entertainment to the users by browsing the information and guidelines about the different services inside the Forest Product Laboratory. Because of this, the place can be more entertaining.
