The design project entitled Design of Proposed Four — storey Reinforced Concrete Poultry House was developed from October 2013 to March 2014 at the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University, Cavite. The general objective of the study was to conduct structural analysis and design of the proposed four — storey poultry house. The study had served as a practical application of the ideas and knowledge of the authors on the concept of designing a structure based on their related design subjects.

Structural system of the proposed four — storey reinforced concrete poultry house was analyzed through the use of Structural Aided Analysis and Design (STAAD) computer software. This software was used to simplify complex computations regarding the design project. The design project included architectural plans based on two storey poultry house in Brgy. Kay Paaba Gen.Aguinaldo, Cavite; structural plans, detailed sections, and civil work estimates. The total estimated cost of the project was P 21,858,252.22.
