The study was conducted in Cavite State University — main campus. It aimed to design and develop an online image manager for Public Information and Community Relations Office of Cavite State University — main campus_ Specifically it aimed to identify the problems involved with the organization in terms of the repository, availability and security of the photos taken in every event in our university, analyze the specific requirements needed to develop the system, design the system that will make use of Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML), JavaScript, develop a web-based compilation of images that will answer the organization's problem and evaluate the system for further suggestions and feedbacks by using questionnaire method. College of Engineering and Information Technology — Department of Information Technology Software Development Methodology was used for the development of the system. It has seven phases namely analyze/planning, breakdown priority project, design module, code—test/debug, integration of sub procedure and testing, integration with existing system, test/implementation. The system was developed through the use of PHP, HTML, JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) as the scripting language and My Structured Query Language (MySQL) for the database. The results were analyzed by getting the mean and standard deviation.
The system was composed of four modules such as log — in module, upload module, verify module and output module and has four level of access namely administrator, staff, student/employee and end-users. The system was evaluated "very good" in functionality, reliability, efficiency, maintainability and portability while excellent" in terms of usability. System evaluation and testing was done and objectives and criteria were met. The proponents recommend furthering improving the system through including videos on the gallery, creating other document format for downloadable files and having a timeline of albums on the gallery
