A three-month enterprise development project was conducted at Cavite State University-main campus near at College of Economics, Management and Development Studies (CEMDS) from June 30, 2014 — September 18, 2014. The project aimed to: (1) determine the operation and strategies of the project; (2) determine the profitability of the business and; (3) determine the problems encountered in the operation of the business and suggest feasible solutions. The project covered all the functional management aspects such as organizational aspect, production, marketing and financial aspect. The activities and operations of these aspects were performed by the entrepreneurs under a partnership type of ownership and organization.
The project was engaged in the production of homemade and ready-made sweets for students such us coated banana, sweet potato fries, chocolate cupcake, Stick-o, breadstix , pastillas, barquillos and marshmallows. The project started with an initial investment of P30, 000.00 which was used in the procurement of raw materials, tools and equipment. The prices of the products were based on the current market prices and the cost of production. Data and other relevant information pertaining to entrepreneurial project were gathered through actual operations and observations
