The study was conducted to provide the Provincial Health Office of Cavite an easy way of disseminating information about cancer and give the general public an accessible way of getting information about cancer and other cancer related information. The mobile application has five (4) modules, namely: cancer information, about, and visual story module. Prototyping was used as the methodology in the development the software. It helped the proponents to develop the mobile application that satisfies the user requirement and bug free.

The following software was used to develop the application: Android Studio for the designing and development of the application, java as programming language, Adobe Photoshop for editing of images and other graphics such as icons and logo in the application and Microsoft Word for the documentation. The application was evaluated by 100 respondents. Evaluator were composed of 50 general public, 30 medical field, 10 Provincial Health Office staff and 10 IT experts. The application was evaluated by the respondents based on the giver criteria: functionality, reliability, usability and user-friendliness. The application passed all the given criteria.
