The study was conducted from March 2017 to August 2018 at Cavite State University, Indang Cavite to develop an accounting management system of Farm Integrated Project in Cavite State University. Specifically, it aimed to identify the problems of the existing system through interviews, survey and research, 2. analyze and interpret the problems using fishbone diagram, 3. design the system using an Extreme Programming Methodology that specifies the processes involved in the system; 4. develop a system using PHP and MySQL, and 5. evaluate the system performance through series of testing. The methodology used in the development of the software was Extreme Programming. It was composed of the following phases: planning, design, coding, and testing.
The software developed has the following modules: sales record module, expense module, financial statement module, and report module. The sales record module is equipped for taking care of the data about the sales that is inputted by the staff. Expense module can be used to observe and manage direct expense, labor cost, depreciation cost and the amortization schedule. Financial statement module is dependable of computing income by methods for record, and Report module can be used to create monthly and yearly report. The system was evaluated by the director, an accountant and 1 1 IT specialists based on its functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. Having excellent result in evaluation indicates the respondents were very much satisfied with the system.
