The study was conducted to develop an interactive educational tool in Science VI it Felipe Calderon Elementary School Tanza, Cavite. The system was developed for the benefit of Grade VI students and the Science teachers of the said institution the methodology used in the system was iterative development. It is composed of the following phases: planning, analysis and design, implementation, and evaluation. The system was composed of four (4) modules: account, content, assessment, and report modules. The content module contained lessons, presentations, and videos. The assessment module includes quiz. The report module includes students' grade and lists of students. In addition the system has three (3) levels of access: administrator, teacher, and *cadent. Every user has own LRN (Learners Reference Number) and password. The administrator can modify all user accounts.
The system was developed using PHP Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) as the developing tool, MySQL as the database, and XAMPP server as the locaihost. Adobe Dreamweaver was used in developing the design of the system, Adobe Flash for -xesentations, and Adobe Photoshop for the system design. The system was evaluated by the students and teachers based on the following riteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability of the system. The system passed all the given criteria, and it successfully achieved the uicfy-s objectives.
