The Enhancement of Cavite State University students mobile handbook using Android platform was developed to enhance the Cavite State University manual handbook and to make it accessible to all users. The system is composed of three modules: the search module to provide function of search in the handbook; the content module that contains all the contents of Cavite State University Student Handbook; and the video module that contains some videos about some common policies and regulations of the University.
The software methodology used in the development of the system was the V model methodology. This methodology had different phases which are as follows: requirement analysis, system design, program design, coding, unit testing, system testing, acceptance testing, and operation and maintenance. In creating the system, Android Studio was used as the integrated development environment (IDE), Java was used as the programming language, Premiere and After Effects for video editing and mobile phone with Android operating system for the implementation.
