<br/><br/> The farm practice project was conducted at Limbon, Indang, Cavite from July 1984 to February 1985. It aimed to determine the production of tomato as an intercrop<br/>to pineapple, and to disseminate information to farmers about the proper management practices in intercropping tomato to pineapple.<br/><br/>An area of 1,000 square meters planted to pineapples was used for the project. The variety of tomato used was CA-530-4-3.<br/><br/>Seedbox was prepared for seed germination. Transplanting of tomato as an intercrop was done on August 19, 1984. Side-dressing of complete fertilizer was done at the rate of 4OO kilograms per hectare. A week after fertilization, plants were sprayed with Agrimycin at the rate of two tablespoonful per @lion of water with an interval of one week until the wilting was controlled.<br/><br/>The plants started to flower forty five days after transplanting. Fruits were harvested three months after transplanting. The harvested fruits averaged to 255 kilograms and were marketed at P 8.00 per kilo.<br/>
